In July, my husband and I hit up The Junction Flea and it was such a fun afternoon!
The sun was blazing, there was not a cloud in the sky, and we consumed more than our share of Augie's Ice Pops to help keep us cool while browsing all the unique items the vendors had on display.
The Junction Flea is held once a month on a Sunday from 9am - 4pm at Dundas and Keele, with a $2 admission fee. For a list of future dates check out the Junction Flea website.
I thought I would share some photos of our experience and possibly tempt you to check out the next Junction Flea, which is this Sunday August 11, 2013.
I have had my eye on these alpaca blankets by Cambie Design for quite some time. I love the bright colours and the patterns. I saw them at the Dundas West Fest back in June and then again at the Junction Flea. I think it's a sign that one of these beauties should be coming home with me soon.
Cambie just opened a new storefront in Parkdale this week (1535A Queen St West) so if you're in the area stop by and see these beautiful blankets for yourself, or visit their website.
These terrariums and bags by Crown Flora Studio are so gorgeous. Their storefront is located at 1537 Queen St W, right next to Cambie Design. Crown Flora Studio also offers terrarium workshops if you are into making your own.
I am not normally a big cheesecake fan but when it's combined with a brownie, I can make an exception. This cheesecake brownie from All Mine Caramel was a-m-a-z-i-n-g! It did not last long.
Augie's Gourmet Ice Pops stole the show that day. This tent had a constant line up for these delicious all-natural handmade popsicles, and many of the flavours were already sold out.
The variety of flavours was so unique! I loved the Watermelon + Lemon + Mint and my husband enjoyed the Tart Cherry + Lemon. They were SO good and refreshing, especially on such a hot day. For a full list of flavours and how you can order some Ice Pops, check out her website.
We'll be back Janet!
The upcoming Junction Flea dates are Sunday August 11, Sunday September 8 and Sunday October 13.
Definitely worth checking out!
