Allow me a moment of mush…

Last night, like many of you I’m sure, I was glued to CNN and CP24’s coverage of Hurricane Sandy. The devastation that Sandy caused is unbelievable – many lives lost, families terrified, fires, cars floating down the streets, homes and businesses flooded.

As I sat and watched the coverage, I couldn’t help but feel so incredibly grateful for the roof over my head and for the windows that shielded me from the intense rain and crazy fast wind. I was grateful for the extra bottles of water, radio, batteries, and Reeses Peanut Butter Cups I had accumulated in case we did lose power. I am grateful.
